Well folks. Looking for a bit of guidance. I know this has been answered before, but with no search function I can't go looking.
I have a Corsa GSi and the gearbox is what I would call "sloppy". The gearstick has a very loose feeling and I am looking to tighen it up.
I was going to order a quickshift anyway, but will this help tighen things up at all, or is there anything else I should consider?

Might be the linkage has come apart.

wouldnt select gears properly if linkage has come apart would it?

Depends how bad it is I spose. Been told thats the problem with mine, sometimes it struggles to go into gear and feels pretty loose. Could be wrong though...

the linkage is the problem ive had with my last 2 corsa so thats probably it. only takes about 10 mins to sort out
