changed from 3 to orange a few weeks back now and i recieved an offer text from orange today on my 3 phone  (transfered my number from orange to 3).
orange will have obviously cancelled my contract wont they? just little worried that they sent me the text lol. got me thinking that they still have my orange contract running or something stupid

wont be orange, will be iqbalsphonez trying to flog you an "upgrade" which means a new phone new number.
If it happens to be from Orange, it will be an automated message and im guessing you took your number with you?
If you did you have 100% stopped your contract.

yeh took my number with me, but the message came up saying it was from orange that was all.
