bought a corsa last nite and its fitted with an after market mantzel style inlet and on the top of the throttle body theres 2 gold pipes which have nothing connected to them.. just wondered what these are for?

Coolant runs through them when the body is in the original position, its not needed so dont worry about them.

yea, its just there to stop the throttle body freezing up in cold weather, when the cold air is passing through it quickly.
You shouldn't have any problems with that in this country, so don't worry about it
