Did you paint the exhaust manifold in regular hammerite? If so, i'm pretty sure thats going to burn off. Need to use high temperature exhaust paint.

I see you're local to me mate I'm in Pontypridd, but at uni in Swansea.

When its up and running again, you should come to a meet with us - I'm hoping to organise a rolling road day for during Easter, and I'm sure you'd love to see how the car is running!

Come say hello mate:

havnt really done much - the car has been in a local grage with an electrical fault somewere - hoping to get it painted next month in a bright yellow - took the coilovers to a guy in hirwaun " mikemorganrallying " to check the coilovers to see if the inserts are ok - turns out theres nothing wrong with them but the adjusters to adjust the height were seized so got them all fixed and fitted - got new discs and pads to go on cheers.
