Don't know if anyone cares on here but hey,

On saturday night the Real IRA followed pizza deliverry men to the army barricks, 4 British soldiers come out to get pizaas, RIRA opened fire, 2 soldiers dead and the other two injured. The two delivery drivers were also shot for colaborating with the British army. Around 60 shots fired.

Tonight at around 10 o'clock police man shot dead! Details are sketchy.

3 dead in 3 nights!

Lets hope not were going back in time

Some of it's a bit suspect.

No military deaths for something like 15 years then when they want the SAS brought in soldiers are shot.

Whoever done it, with somebody taking responsibility the blood will be on their heads.

It has, big change over this past 10 years or so. But could all change very quickly and easily, really is anyones guess as what is going to happen next. Rumours of mortar attack on police station aswell.

The history should remain just that though. This could spell disaster.

There has always been a threat from dissident republicans, and stuff happening thats not always reported. Thinking stepping up secruity was the right decision, that doesnt really justify killing of 3 security officers. Only really coming from one side at the minute, if it stays that way its another matter.

Either stepping up security was the right decision or they needed an excuse for it and took out a couple of soldiers (i'm a massive cynic incase you hadn't noticed )

RIRA have admitted it though so whether it was them or not they've antagonised the situation massively.

Ireland really doesn't need it at all.

I personally don't think its in retaliation of stepping up security, I maybe wrong, but I do agree that they were just looking for an excuse to start something. Although bits and pieces have been happening here and there, just not to this extreme.

Funny thing is, no one actually wants this, regardless of what side there on.

Policeman also shot dead tonight really cant believe its starting back up again after so many years of peace

As saidd before lots of things have happened in the lat couple of months car bomb in police mans car he was lucky to escape got told the only way he survived was the way ford make their seats grenade attacks and shots fired.
Only difference was that noone was killed and it never got to the mainstream press because the government wanted people to think things were fine

For the record I find it an absolute disgrace. How out of touch are they with the modern world that they see a couple of young pizza delivery boy's as nothing more than collateral because they were 'servicing' the army.

One of the most stupid and out of date pieces of nonsense I've heard in a while. I hope they catch the murderers and string them up.

Really is the last thing people want. From what i have heard it is only a very small fraction of the ira who are causing trouble, however if thats correct sending troops in may result in more trouble.

The continuity IRA are taking reponsibility for this one. Reports in the news are suggesting they are in cahorts with the RIRA but the news from people actually in Ireland that know what they're talking about is they wanted to make a mark so they look as if they're doing something as well.

They're all dissidents anyway, they should be taken out altogether, because if one innocent life from the other side is lost the blood is on the hands of whoever started it.

No one in Ireland with any sense wants a return to the way it was.

I agree it must be nipped in the bud, however, contravening the Good Friday agreement was the reason the dissidents have reacted this past week. Bringing more troops in will only make things worse.

Being a bull in a China shop hasn't served the British Army very well in recent history has it?
