Can anyone point me in the direction of someone who makes carbon sheeting?

I need a 90cm x 50cm sheet, and has to be around 3mm thick, and IF possible, rounded corners, and IF possible, the edge smoothed down so its not a sharp edge (hard to explain, and i cant think of the word i need!)

Is it possible to affix strengthening plates to the underside?

Im going to use this to cover the hole where the sunroof was, ive tried using an infil panel made from polycarbonate, but i couldnt get a decent seal, so im now going to clag a chunk of carbon to the roof instead.

I was just wondering if when i get it i could make some sort of X on the bottom to try and reduce any flex it may have with it being bolted to the roof & having a fair size hole under it.

Ideas, opinions & critisisms welcomed.

Cheers.

If he can post i'm up for it Blukoo.

Im planning on lining it up, getting some good(i mean industrial grade) sealer, sticking it in place with weight on, then once dried drill it & rivit or secure bolt it into place.

But im thinking it will need a cross member under it to stop it from flexing too much, which is the main headache as im unsure how to fix this in place. i mean, the carbon bonnets have fibreglass cross members and they seem to work, so if i can source something similar and glass it on or seal it on, it should do the job.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Fazza, i have no idea what cage i have, could be a sparco one i think.

Ste, i googled carbonfibre & emailed the crap out of everyone that popped up

A_j, i was thinking more for cabin pressure while driving, dont want to be driving along with rolf bloody harris bong a longing on the roof.

Not used carbon before, so i dont know about the flexibility, just thought it may be an idea to stop it bouncing up & down, which i thought could lead to damaging the seal i put on it?

I could be wrong though.
