If money solved the problems there would be none.

There's so much red tape that we can't even send over food we don't need.

Waste of £5's imo.

To be honest, the thing that pisses me off the most about comic relief, is the celebrities...

They're like 'wow, look at me, I'm doing this for free man - I'm really helping out'...

But in reality, they're getting their face on a prime time tv slot / probably getting seen by new audiences who may never have seen them before and associating themselves with something 'good'.

The worst is all the musicians...

'Do a quick gig for free for comic relief and watch the sales rise!'

Only bit i enjoy is watching ricky gevais, as I picture him thinking similar to me and as such generally takes the piss out of it all each year.

so your comparing yourself to the least funny man on telly today. that aint such a good thing.

I would rather see Ricky Gevais's head on a pike then watch any of his fucking shit he calls "comedy"

hes a twat... end of

and as for all the negative stuff.. its just over £56million so far. at least some people care what goes on in the world rather than concentrating on their own menial little lives

yes i have the rant on tonight.. and for once its for a good cause

and as for the "hahaha he said saves picking up the phone but then said about texting what a chump" ... GTF

Ricky Gevais is A ) a legend and B ) very funny.

You may have your opinion on him, but the fact is he's made v.successful comedies, sold truck loads of dvds and has got very rich as a result.

If he was as you describe him, this would not be the case.

Each to their own.

You may donate £5, but how much ACTUALLY gets to those who need it? £1? 50p? If you're lucky.

Read the broadsheets on a Sunday - MDs/CEOs etc etc vacancies advertised for charities with salaries £60k+ ...."chuggers" in the street getting £10/hour.....how does THAT help others?

If people really wanted to HELP, they would work for charities for FREE. You can argue 'til the cows come home about paying for quality people, but at the end of the day, people should NOT be getting paid twice the average UK salary for working for a CHARITY. It's disgusting.

grrrrrrrrr

Always wandered where the money actually goes. Some charities have big offices and fancy advertising. They can't get all this for free.
