...biting my finger nails?

I've promised the missus I'd stop, but find it impossible. Most of the time I don't realise I'm doing it until it's done.

Anyone managed to stop before, and if so, how the F can I?

Go to the local market and steal something. The crazy Arab laws will then kick in and you'll have no nails to bite....as you'll have no hands

i have the same problem

i find wearing gloves cures the problem (i have to wear gloves in work) but when i get home i don't even realise i'm biting them until someone tells me

that stuff to put on your nails don't work either, you get used to the taste after a while and actually like it.

I bit my nails all the time until I was on holiday at 21 and decided I wouldn't any more. Made it into a sort of competition at how good i could get my nails to look. It sounds/is kind of gay but I don't bite my nails now 3 years on.

Although I did have to take up smoking for sometihng to do with my hands.

Tastes terrible and works quite well.

You need to continue after you've stopped biting your nails though or you just go back to it.
