I posted these in the main forum but no doubt people will just comment about the cars so I'm posting them here too.
Never really photographed motor sport before, so I really wanted to pop along to a Brands Hatch track day and get a few snaps.

I find panning shots quite boring to look at after a while. I always try and capture some action shots.
I think the vignette effect is too strong on some of them, but other than that, they're okay.
I love the 997 turbo one (although it looks a little too surface blurred).

It's my first attempt at panning so not had a chance to get bored yet.

Far too much shadowing on them for my liking...I think a simple border would have worked better.
The panning is decent though.

they are all fantastic, Ive never had a go at track stuff, I doubt I could do that well
one thing im dying to say though is, too much vignette

That was literally the only crash I saw, and even then I only saw it after it happened.

Cheers Matt. I think the effect is a bit marmite. A few people have said they love them, but the majority of people hate them. I'm just trying to be a bit different as panning shots get boring after a while.

Most people won't look in Snap Day so they won't see them at all. I only posted it in the general forum as there's a few forum members doing the track day and they'd probably be a lot more interested than most of the 'togs on here!
