Thought I'd get a little project thread going on the C to keep me working on it
Bought this little number in February, pretty much standard apart from irmy backbox.
Anyway, it stayed pretty much as it was there for a few weeks (except a wash and polish) Unfortunately, fault light came up on the dashboard - code reader threw up Fuel pump relay (luckily I have a warranty and they're still in process of sorting it out for me - to go back into auto electricians on wednesday).
Anyhow, first mod really was to get my sony HU in that I took out of my old TD B, which has much improved sound, couple along with some JBL front speakers for now.
Following the silver V piece falling off the front, getting scratched and snapped, that was first thing to replace.
Next up, it had a standard SXi lower grille.... had to get the SRi grille tbh and that I have just finished fitting. Unfortunately during fitting I came to realise the car must have been involved in a front end smash at some point which may come to explain the wrong grille but there we go! If anyone wants the standard grille let me know... free to a good home
Next up, the rubber pedal covers had started to go a bit manky lol, so off to vauxhall I went and now I've just fitted these, which are much more fitting to the SRi theme.
And thats as it stands for the time being....
Hoping to get a set of 16" SRi wheels shortly when money lets me, and possibly put a slight tint on the rear windows.

Went on a scrap yard mission this morning to get a set of the tinted rear lights and managed to get a tidy set for £30, not bad considering theres someone selling some on corsa c for £50.
Picture not that good I'm afraid but they do suit the car nicely.
Then, having successfully done some debadging on my brothers B last week, I decided to have a crack at mine - this hasn't gone so well and I'm regretting starting it tbh... Got the letters and adhesive off with some tar remover no problems, but around the letters, theres little like chip marks where the paint has gone down to the metal, tried t cutting and all this seems to have done is make it worse and is taking the paint away, have put some touch up paint on but it's going to look shit tbh I think... any ideas?

SRi spoiler, lower it on hottuning coilvers and it will finish it off just nicely.
Nice looking car you have got there though.

tell you what mate, i'll sell it to you next year and you can finish it off
just put some front mud flaps on it, bargain price at PVS lol. Not sure whether I like them or not though.
Been on the look out for an SRi spoiler and mirrors but not found anything yet and I'm skint atm lol!
Still keep debating facelift bumper as well lol

I like what you are doing to your car! These little gradual mods are making a huge difference
You prob heard this a lot but the colour is lush and I love the tinted lights £30 Bargin! And the white alloys make it look so sharp!
Well keep up the mods.

glad to know my work is appreciated
A few things I need to sort out atm, still need to get hold of a front splitter, boot needs a respray from where by debadging went wrong lol - debating whether to have it smoothed at the same time.
Don't know if I'll be doing any more then though as I want to sell it soon.

Car had a fight with my garage wall when I was struggling to get it in the garage because of the snow
the damage: -
after some cif cream and elbow grease no polish/t-cut to hand: -
lick of polish and it'll be good as new
thinking of facelifting it now if and when I have time and money.

How she looks at the moment...
]
Not happy about the crap respray job I did with the alloys, if I decide to keep it, that may be something I get redone professionally.
The other plan was to completely opelise the car, only problem is opel centre caps aren't cheap, and ideally I'd like a facelift bumper, with irmy grill as I hate the steinmetz prefacelift grill... money to do all this is non existent at present
If anyone is interested in buying it mind, make me an offer, I fancy a change!
