Went to meet my brother last night and I had my camera on me wih a ring flash I borrowed from uni and messed around with exposure keeping the lens open for 20 seconds taking a picture of his wheel and then driving around the car and this was the out come (with a tad of editing)



What do people think?

Apart from calling it abstract it's really just a blurry picture, not exactly what ring flashes are designed for.

its a crap picture of a wheel with loads of light trails. It would look better without the wheel there imo.

like I said I was trying something different by each to their own, used the ring flash because i had it on me and prefer it to the flash thats on the 40d

Trouble is the ring flash has left none of its typical properties that they are praised for. Nice colour sat. though

yeh was a lazy shot from my car window, done a few more shots with the ring flah using people has to besaid they come out a lot better love the look the rinflash gives in portraits
