In May I fancy going for a bit of a road trip up around Scotland to take in some nice locations and some good driving roads.
I want to be away for about 5 nights staying in a different location/hotel each night.
Ideally i'd like to end up at Windermere on the 5th night.
Can anybody suggest some decent locations to visit or nice hotels we could stay in(taking the wife so need good hotels) and also good routes.
Cheers.

Yeah, the restaurant was nice too. Busy but still managed to fit us in when we ended up being a couple of hours late for our reservation
Kirst did all the organising for that one though, so I don't know more details.

^^ This hotel is about 10 minutes from my house, the road from there through comrie>crieff>methven>then onto perth is a great road, ask Colin he will agree you are only 1 hour away from dundee/stirling and about 1h.30 mins from Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Loch Tay
Great road from Stirling to Callender then Callender to Killin then skirt round the edge of Loch Tay to Aberfeldy
Think there is a superb hotel in the grounds of Abereldy golf club.
After that you would be fairly central and able to go up A9 up to Inverness and do some highlands driving!
Hope that helps!
