It's getting close.
United fan here... Just seen the news that Ronaldo is injured.
That means, we have no Scholes, no Ronaldo, no Rooney, no Berbatov and possibly no Vidic for the match against Villa in about a week. They're not exactly an easy team, and they're gunna want to prove that after getting embarrassed by Liverpool.
I generally think if Gerrard and Torres stay fit, they'll win the league and possibly even the Champions League. If United were like they were 2 months ago, I'd still feel confident now but lets face it, the only reason Liverpool are so close is because United have dropped form big time.
If I had to bet now, I'd put my money on Liverpool. They've got nothing to loose and can go all out. The pressure is certainly on United unfortunately.

Can't wait to see Cosmoans input!
Nani and Anderson can step in for Ronaldo and Scholes respectively. Evans is good enough at centre back and it looks like Welbeck could be given a start, or Giggs up front.

I think United will drop points to Villa but I still think they'll be on for the quadruple.

When Torres and Gerrard are unfit, who steps in? HummDog or whatever his name is, and that bloody idiot Benayoun, but when Berbatov, Rooney, Scholes and Vidic are out, in come Tevez, Nani, Anderson and Evans, strength in depth will see Man Utd through me thinks, although I'd like to see Liverpool do it.

Although I do agree we are a totally different side without those two - they were both missing for big parts of the season pre-xmas yet we were top of the league. And they were both fit Jan onwards where we had the slump of draws.

Personally I cant see us winning it just yet. Its certainly a possibility and not giving up hope, but we are needing to win all our games and banking on United dropping another 4pts.
Realistically though both teams are going to drop points between now and the end of the season.

Sorry.
Liverpool will easy win the league. Fergie has got back to his old drinking problem - probably due to the nightmares of being raped at home by Liverpool - and has lost it. Rooney has lost his head - probably due to the nightmares of being raped at home by Liverpool - and has lost it. Ronaldo is just utter dogshite - probably due to the nightmares of being raped at home by Liverpool - and has lost it.

Spot on, i agree with that, we'll both drop points, although we have to beat villa, it's a massive game for us and we are decimated by injuries and suspensions

We can go above you before you play Villa if we beat Fulham away, so hopefully if you drop points against Villa we can stay above you and put a bit more pressure on you (even though you'll have a game in hand).

Fulham away is a hard game although i'd expect you to beat them
We hammered them just the keeper had a blinder, and some stupidity on our part
Anything but win against villa and united are in trouble imo
