The picture from the $25 camera is clearly crap.

Well, not incorrect, but well argued from both sides.
Its been well investigated that the original olympus trip produced sharper images than modern digital technology. The camera can be picked up for a fiver in good condition.

He's a tongue in cheek writer, his articles from what I can see are to be taken as no more than that.
It is incorrect, film has a certain resolution, digital can surpass that.
Yes I know resolution doesn't make the picture but thats what the original article was about.

In this situation most cameras would fair quite well against the D3.
