basically my tax disc reminder came through and i didnt really pay attention i thought ill pay that end of the month then i realised it was for my GTi
i sold it about 5 months ago
i photocopy things before i send them off so i have a photocopy of the logbook with the new keepers details?
what should i do?

write a letter to dvla and inc a copy of the photocopy.

same happened to my sister, first she got a letter saying she was getting done for speeding so she sorted that. Then a few months later got a seizure notice saying the car is going to be crushed

Well, if you sent the bit at the bottom of the V5 saying that you sold the vehicle etc then it should all be done shouldnt it?

When my insurance wrote my car off, they wanted the V5 (probably so they could repair it and resell it) so I rang up the DVLA saying it had been sent to scrap
