Was driving through town when some little s**t threw a brick through my front windscreen! Never seen the boy before in my life! brick landed lodged in the windscreen and i was pretty lucky that it never came all the way through as it would have hit me square on in the face!  And the worst thing about it is.. it was my first day on the road as i just passed my test yesterday! Anyone had anything like this happen before?

Get to the cops, say you want them to check cctv as you want to do them for criminal damage, might find the bugger & get him to pay for damage.
Not likely, but worth a shot.

yeah, right in the city centre! hopefully they'll find him! the police are treating it as attempted manslaughter they said!

The police are treating it as attempted manslaughter and not criminal damage so he will get done pretty badly for it! and they said he should have to pay compensation when it goes to court!

wow, cool cops, happened to a mate of mine, but someone chucked something off a bridge as he drove under it, said there was nothing they could do & had to claim on his insurance!

Noway, i had to claim of my insurance! luckily i have windscreen cover so it wont affect my no claims! have to wait till tomorrow to get it fixed though!

If it was my car I;d of been chasing the little bastard, cctv or no cctv,
The cctv never works anyway, found that out a few times when I;ve needed it,
