Hi,
I have Recently just Bought a New Car(Well Shell)And came across this whilst Tidying it up?
I was just wondering where abouts it goes?There is 2 Lugs on it where it looks like it will Bolt up to something but i cant see any Screws,Bolts or Holes Etc?
The ECU And Wires to the Right where all over the Place,So i put them back into Place and put the Cover back on and it looks much better now but got stuck on this
The Car is a 1.4 16V Sport (R Reg) If this Helps.
Help/Pics much Appreciated

Most of the Wires go up into the Relays!

never done anything up there
and tbh, i cant say iv ever seen that
if you can follow the wires might give you a clue
but looks like a ecu/electral box of some sort
remote centrol locking?alarm?

Isn't it the central locking ECU?
Easiest way is to unplug it and see what stops working.

Well i just presumed with you changing Ecu's/Wires Etc that you might have came across one of these B4,But Clearly not.
Yeah thats what It looks like/I thought.
Well most the Wires go to the Relays and the others just go behind the Dash and so on....

Well i thought about that,But didnt want to incase something happend.I might just get the Part Number and get Vauxhall to check what it is,Then just Stick it upwards somewhere out the way

That ECU can't go far, I'd assume it would be bolted above the EPAS ECU.

i have a 1600 sport with abs and central locking, so it cant be that as all mine still works and i dont have that box just the yellow plug bit

abs ecu is in passenger side footwell. small silver thing.
it cant actually be many things as there arent many control units on a corsa in the first place. central locking is the best guess. will see if i have that in mine when i go for a smoke in a bit.

mines has alarm abs central locking electric windows and electric mirror and all mines works and i dont have that black box( not that ive noticed anyway) and it aint connected

Well that's a shit load of wires going into a GM part so if you don't have that connected something shouldn't be working.

I dont have EPAS.Also it wont go that far up,But im assuming (Sp) Around that Area?

I've only worked on Corsa with EPAS, iirc my old Astra had that box bolted to the ECU plastic frame. Will it reach?
