They are employing? What sort of role?

Hedge funds got his massively by the credit crunch and most are selling off what they can to recoup what they can!

Yeh some of the better ones are. They did really well in the credit crunch because they invest a lot in alternative investment vehicles.

The role is a software developer working on their trading systems.

Not the trading systems no - just crappy back office systems and some other stuff.

So sounds like that would be a much more interesting job!!

Not really much I can tell you other than go and do some research on how hedge funds work and how they are different to your standard investment funds.

Yeh well actually they specifically said they don't expect candidates to know much about the company so it's not a huge problem.

They gave me an overview in my phone interview this morning. 250 Employees, offices in NY, London, Hong Kong etc. Assets of $12bn.
