Just thought id put up about some cheap stuff at Wickes.
Dont know how good the quality is but cant moan, its not exactly expensive.
2 Tonne Axle Stands (pair) - £3.42
95 piece tool kit - £3.67
Axle stands are still being ordered into stores, getting mine today for £2.80 a pop with staff discount
As for the tool kit, im not sure if they are obsolete now or not, will check later.
I got the last one of them from Derby too

If they were dangerous a major place like wickes wouldnt sell them. They have the same design as the RAC ones i bought in a kit bar the top seating bit.

They do seem very cheap tho. But it might be clearance stock (due to a closing of a supplier) that have been branded wickes. Ive come across this before, liquidators just sell off a companys stock for pennies.

Axel stands look quite chunky and decent enough
Remember they're not a moving part, no particularly doing a hard job.
I've used bricks before

Man i just got home, that was a long shift.
I didnt say the tools would be great quality. I dont expect them to be. But when i can get a they little took kit for 2.97 i really dont want to complain.
Also the axle stands turned out to be the 2 tonne per stand (4 tonne pair) Draper stands which i have had a pair of and used for a fair few years. Besides i got 3 pairs for 8.21 so cant moan tbf.

Haimsey i agreed with you, most of the time they are good stuff when they are sold from a well branded store.
