Just had a quick browse on the net mate, this was on the RSPCA site...

Silica gel is used to absorb moisture in many different products, and is usually packaged in plastic cylinders or paper packets. Silica gel is also used in certain cat litters for the same purpose. While it is indeed true that it is not meant for consumption, with most ingestions silica gel produces only mild stomach upset which typically resolves with minimal to no treatment. If very large quantities are eaten, however, such as with ingestions of multiple packets or mouthfuls of kitty litter, intestinal obstruction is a possibility- especially in very small animals.

Also read that you should contact a vet who will make the dog throw up to be on the safe side... Not sure how true that is.

It has to be a fair amount, though depends on the dog. Dark is worse for them.

But regards to the silica gel should be ok, just make sure there's enough water put down as it'll be parched!

Do they? Fuck that then I'm getting a guard Gerbil instead if a dogs can be grounded by a simple dairy milk attack.

It has to be pretty excessive though. If you knew some the things my dog digests, chocolate is the least we got to worry about
