go in and tell them it was an honest mistake, and that you will change all your accounts to other banks if they intend on enforcing the charge.
or just take it on the chin

Providing your not blagging and there was enough cash in your other acc if you are nice enough to them they might change their minds.

I got a few bank charges reversed just by going down and asking if there was anything they could do about it.

I reckon I'll have some charges coming. Went over drawn by not even £5 for 1 day from a couple of itunes purchases... they went through as separate transactions, I'm guessing I will get charged for each transaction?
Just gonna go and say I'll take my money elsewhere if they insist on me having to pay the charges

I went to my branch at lunch time when it most busy and stood by the sit down desk bit. When she asked me what she could help with, I replied
I WOULD LIKE TO COMPLAIN
They soon sorted it.

HSBC now only charge me £3.28 ish for overdraft charges since i went in there and told them some stuff i had heard about that banks cant charge more than x amount on things like that. They then said because i was a valued customer (all my life) they would change it
There are ways around it, have a search on google and find out more

sand-eel if you havnt had a charge before you will get it back as a good will gesture, if you have already had one they will probably not give you it back.
If you ever get a charge for being less than £2 over your limit you should also get it back.
Also you dont get one back every year, its one per account per person.
