Alrite ladies and gents, been on this forum for a while now and thought id post this build thread.
Im still only 16 so progress is slow on the car but i've changed it slightly since i got it.

Well here it is, its a 1.2 8v corsa vegas that i bought completely standard,

First thing to buy was a k&n cone filter of a mate for a tenner. Next came a sony xplod 1200w sub, kenwood 800w amplifier and JVC stereo.

Bought a pair of red and black reclining bucket seats of matt_wassall on here and a 14" set of alloys.

I decided against the alloys and left them sitting in the garden, at about this time i was offered an M reg 1.4 corsa with a fooked engine for £100, it had a decent set of OZ Racing Superleggera alloys on and a few other bits such as lexarse lights, and a bee sting ariel.

I stripped down the corsa of valuables such as a brand new battery, door speakers which my car needed, headlights, and the parcel shelf. Today the scrap man came and took the car away, giving me £40. So in all the alloys and other bits cost me £60, dont think thats too bad

In the last picture, the front of the car is jacked up which is why its looking like its on stilts..

Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated

I put a thread up on here mate advertising it cheap as chips, i was even ready to give it away to anyone off here. Didnt expect the scrap man to give me anything for it, no mate definitely not putting them on it!

I would lower it, but i can see me having mates in it most days at college as well as the boot full, i can see it rubbing..

Little update, turned 17 last week and passed my theory test so driving the car on L plates. Tried fitting my k&n cone filter today, but put the original one back on because there was a pinky red wire that i wasnt sure what it did, is it okay to leave this laying about unnatached on the one end? Also having hell trying to get my seats in

What problems you having with the seats? get them on the subframes outside the car, then slipping them in is only 2 bolts!

Awesome to see someone sensible enough to buy a car before passing test and getting it ready, wish i thought of that!!
