not to my taste or prob most peoples on here but thought i would pop some pics on here......

its a girls car, i had the car dropped off last thursday and started work on the friday, the first few pics are of progress from last friday,

then the rest are from today when i got it all painted, just needs buffing then they are taking it away for them bot build it back up again to make it cheaper for them!

work i did was:-

badboy bonnet
badboy boot
remove few dents
smooth arieal
smoot boot lock off
smooth wiper off

full respray
main car ford olimpic blue, basecoat and laquer
mirros, spoiler, roof in pure white, again basecoat and laquer!
also put stripes in bonnet from them in paint, not stickers!

I like that with the white roof, more standard bodywork if it was mine, but if thats what there paying for, thats what you give them!! Need a helper Iaz, ill come work for you

totally agree mate! i cant stand the kit! never liked it but i dont get paid to do cars i want to i just get paid to do wot people want!

was the engine bay left silver?

could give u a full time jobs mate, lol

got people moaning that i cant do there car straight away! they dont seem to realise i have a normal job also, lol

i have left the bay silver! its up to them wot they want to do in there! if they stripped engine bay down i would have painted in there also!

done a few recently! 3 re sprays in last 5 weeks! lol

just doing the jobs i have agreed to do then chilling out after that cos pub is getting busy now for summer!

also just about to buy my first house which will need new kitchen and bathroom putting in!

my plan is to own that outright before the age of 30!

Love that colour, however the styling is not my cup of tea.

Bastard Such a shame your so far away, i could strip them down and prep them you could paint Bummer! lol

Bastard Such a shame your so far away, i could strip them down and prep them you could paint Bummer! lol


i get so bored of prepping, lol! only do it cos u get to look forwad to the painting bit at the end

Yeah i know what you mean, im a panel beater but sometimes help the painters out prepping if the get overloaded with work. It gets quite boring lol.

i can imagine, i enjoy the welding, filling, smoothing! its just the rubbing down ready for paint i hate! lol

i dont much care for working no normal car with normal colour that would get me bored fast

out of interest, how much do you charge for a full shell respray on a corsa b?

pink ka = £800



street ka = 800



this car = £700 with them stripping and building car up

That price is really good Also do you keep your Vx in the shop while you are painting? Is that not a little.....dangerous
