No.
It's a hell of a sum to take but at the end of the day I know the country needs it.

People earning £150k per year really won't be short on cash anyway will they.
Don't earn it, so go for it. Start charging the big earners and take their money instead of the common mans wages that he really needs.

The bigger problem is the amount of companies that use perfectly legal loopholes to get around paying little or no corporation tax every year. Weve done it in our Tax module at uni and there are some scandalous abuses of what is supposed to be a watertight system, they would be better trying to plug these holes in legislation rather than hitting the tiny top % of individuals, thats just my opinion though

Although i'm not on 150k and most likley won't have to worry about it for a long time, I totally disagree with taxing the rich.
Should be a flat rate tax no matter how you earn imo.

tbf it will affect all the footballers so couldnt care less they earn far too much as it is.
but for the people with real jobs who earn that much its a shame but again it isnt affecting me so doesnt bother me too much

If I earned £150,000 a year I ask for a wage decrease to £149,999.

It wont be 50% on anyone earning £150,000. They will get taxed at 50% on anything that they earn AFTER the £150,000 which is a lot but tax the rich is obviously the fairest policy!

How is it fairest?
Why is it more fair for them to be taxed than somebody on 15k?

Taxing the rich isn't the fairest policy at all, fair means equal. That isn't equal.
Taxing the rich is just the easiest.
Doesn't affect me but I don't agree with it.

You would do a Lewis Hamilton? Be brought up and trained in this country then as soon as you make a few quid piss off to some lower taxed country?

Yep.
Why should they take half my money just because I happen to be in a well paid job. Fuck that.
