copy to sim would probably be the quickest tbh or unlessyou can bulk send contacts via bluetooth or something like that.

what about syncing your contacts with m$ outlook form you SE, then sync them back to your iplod

Or just contacts to sim, sim to iphone, back into old phone, remaining contacts etc

Does the iPhone use VCF files?
Basically I backup all my contacts from my sony ericsson by going to contacts > options > advanced > send all contacts > via bluetooth to my computer.
Could you not do that, then bluetooth that VCF file to your iPhone?

Bluetooth doesn't seem to wanna work on my iPhone..
Done it now, just swapped sims etc like Russ first said, had to delete most my contacts to get the rest on though. Got them all back though. Cheers lads!

Or else just delete the numbers you don't need then copy to sim. Surely you don't have 301 friends

Bluetooth doesn't work on the iPhone full stop... Apple purposely crippled it so only other apple devices can use it.
