just swithced the engine in my mates bmw round as he had a crash and stuff
but anyways
its been running fine untill last night
the power just started dropping and the engine sounded like it was missing 2 or 3 sparks
the engine has basicly just turned weak and crap
no leaks anywhere we spent about a hour checking it over
anybody have any clue what it could be?
people have sugested so far
spark plugs
injectors
fuel filter
shit comeing out of the tank because it was sat for about 3 o4 4 months with petrol in it but no engine
anything?

What BMW is it? Year, Series, 3(E30,E36,E46?) or 5 or other?, Size of engine?

Gotta laugh how people say about 'shit gettin in the petrol tank'. It's sealed with nothing but petrol in it, how can shit come out of it?
First thing I'd be doing is changing spark plugs anyway.

Its a 316 k reg or h reg i think
Also no not shit getting in it
Stuff from the petrol
But we changed the spark plugs oil oil filter fuel filter injectors and it still doing it
Going to try another ecu he has lying around and see whats what
