Hi,
I got round to putting my janspeed manifold and decat on today!
Took me ages to do though, was quite hard, but fun at the same time!
Thing is now, I took the thermostat off to get at a few bolts, but now it seems to be leaking! Is there a gasket or anything on the thermo, or should I just tighten the little torx bolts up as tight as I can?
Also, my de-cat which I also fitted is of the Piper variety, and came with a round metal ring (some kind of gasket) but doesnt look like it will fit in the manifold, will it squash down when you bolt the two together?
Thanks!

the gasket metal ring will squash down when you tighten the decat to the manifold

There should be a little Black Rubber Seal for the Thermostat,If you look at the Bottom of it you will see where it should go

Way Hay!!
Managed to get some thermo seals (handy having a dad that works in a motor factors! )
And put a different bolt in, as im sure the other one stripped a bit, but its solved my leaking problem!! hooray!
So took it out for a spin, but its blowing somewhere, so gonna take it to an exhaust/tyre place in the morning, they should be able to sort it out quickly and easy enough!
All in all, quite chuffed that I managed to do it myself!!
Also bought a toolbox from halfords for £50!! it is a bargain!
Mind you, I have got proper wrenches so just wanted it for all the other bits really! Recommend the tool box!!
Also, I changed my lambda sensor, but the EML came on, do I have to disconnect the battery for a bit to wipe the code or anything? Or is it another paper clip test?
Thanks!
