Ive got suspected Gout in my foot, so basically i find it very hard to walk, making my job very hard/impossible.

Im waiting for blood tests to come back, which i was told would be today (Tuesday) but now they are saying Wednesday/Thursday.

Can i sign myself off until then to avoid any warnings etc etc?

yeas as mark says you can self certify. your doctors receptionist can give you the form you need to fill out if work require it. i got the form off my docs about a month ago but when i took it into work they said i didn't need it.
