hi, im karl. i live in peakirk (between peterborough and the deepings) and this is my car. it was owned by a woman in melton mowbray when i bought it in 2007.
all comments and suggestions welcome.

heres what she looked like when i got it.

yes, thats me on the bonnet

then i painted the calipers red! simple effective job.

my mates copied my idea

next i discovered you cant fit a universal backbox to a corsa very well... looks cool though.

debadged grill ftw!

then some tool in a dark blue 106 mkII hit me!

new bumper, lights and wing from 'Av It', thanks again mate!

easter 2009 pictures.

hitting the ton...

i painted my console and blower surrounds on both sides, but i dont like it. its come out badly too. im thinking satin black over the top?

strut brace

Me and the same mates again. the guy who had the carisma at the top now owns the green 106 with morettes and the guy with the blue old swift now owns the white new swift. the clio is another mate who never comes out, lol.

i forgot my handbrake... lol

when my corsa wasnt lowered and i had 3 people in the back the exhaust used to hit on the axle, but new exhaust mounts solved this. then i got it lowered by 60mm and it started banging again so i took it to kwik fit and they just put in new mounts and it never made a noise again

i may know someone selling 60mm springs too

is there any way you can get another set of hangers mounted further up the pipe past the "AXEL" beam? it would just hold the whole pipe up much better so there isnt a lot of weight on the backbox and it would lift the bend in the pipe off the beam.

is that the little clip on the end of the bars? i had to take them off becuase they were actually touching the backbox!

plan atm - wait till im back from my 10weeks in greece. then buy wheels, engine, springs and full race system all in one go and fit it all over 2-3 days.

good plan yes or no?

because if i put the race system on now it would be fine, if i put new wheels on now it would be fine but id be able to smuggle immigrants in the arches, so when i lower it the pipe will rattle on the axel beam.
if i do it all together then i can have the hanger mountings moved to the right amount because the car will be sitting where i want it and the exhaust wont rattle on the beam.

the reason i need the engine doing at the same time is because ill want a 1.6 system which is no good on a 1.4 which im getting rid of. so it all needs doing together.

making sense?
