That sounds pretty generous, how much pence per mile?

My work only gives me 20p a mile, on a recent trip up to Aberdeen office & back in the M3 I just about broke even on the fuel!

Its just the 1.8SRi but on cruise control up and down the motorways sitting at 70mph i can get just over 500miles to the tank (£55 fill up)

In the 2 1/2 years i have owned it, done around 40k

40p a mile (for first 10k miles) is what the company can offset in the accounts, anything above they are in effect 'giving you'.

I get 50p a mile for miles we charge on to a client, 20p if for the office account.

Love it when I go out on chargeable jobs, costs me less than 10p per mile in fuel, so quids in
