right i had this as a present from my mother when she went away to india last year, thought it would be good as i learn instruments easily and i play guitar.... well it never came out of its case! feel bad as it cost her over 200quid, but just wondering if anyone knows much about them etc before i stick it on the bay!

You are always on about how rich you'll be in a couple of years time are you not but you'd sell quite a unique present

alesis multimix firewire 8 mixer

just need to sell it cheep as no where to keep it now

no im not? i think i have mentioned once, that i would like a nice car, i would like to keep all my stuff but wont have the space as im moving

room mate is learning to play and he says it's pretty damn difficult, mainly due to the scaling and rhythms - and this is someone that already plays 9/10 instruments (majority to grade7/8 standards)

oh yeah, not to burst a bubble but that is an ornament rather than a propper Sitar - it's lacking 5 strings (has 16 by the looks of it instead of the usually 21 odd) and it's far to small.

Saying that, have you tried tuning it? If you can add tension to the strings without the whole lot folding in half, then tune the the top strings to C and then bodge the drones.
