Hiya guys, in a bit of a muddle, im going to be aquiring a corsa sport very soon but it has a running problem.

Its a 1.4 16v and it appears to be running lumpy, i cannot for the life of me figure out what it is!!! a sensor? fueling? coil pack? i know its not a very good description but hey! just what i have been told, just want to get my head round a few ideas before i decide whether its good to go for it or if its financially going to cripple me as ive already got another car.

Hope this makes as much sence as possible!!!

any ideas?

Does it just idle lumpy, or is the drive not so clever either?

idles umpy i think, will have to get some more info from the guy. but pretty sure its just idling

Could be the Idle Control Valve (ICV) or clogged up air intake (debris or similar)

Could just need a service mind.

vacuum pipe? either wrong way round or 1's fallen off somwhere

good question, dont think it smokes as battery was dead when i went to look at it lol, just getting together a few ideas f what it could be

sounds like vacuum pipe mate, mine does this as my vac pipes are allways poping off

vac pipe would make sod all difference to how it drives really
