on the old one i have undone the nut and left it on at the end so i dont end up smacking myself in the face, but it is on so tight i cant budge it. tried wd40 to loosen it but it didnt do anything.

feet on the dash and tug.
if that wont work, get a mate to smack the nut with a hammer while you tug

you can get steering wheel pullers on ebay if you cant pull it off

This dreaded old Task,I told you it wouldnt be Easy
What i did was move the Seat very close to the SW and put my knees behind it and kind of pulled really hard upwards,Then with both Hands pulled on it downwards really Hard,And it popped off.

i just wasnt strong enough, got my 18stone next door neighbor to try and he had it off in about 10 seconds. cheers anyway though

Glad you sorted it buddy we had the same problem in a nova once and ended up tying the steering wheel to a rope onto the back of another car, that got it off quick enough.
