Shame really because his work rate and professionalism (if that's even a word) is top notch, and united have been unfair to him this season
Unfortunately i can't see how he is worth 30million, although i admit berbatov isn't either. But betbatov has more class, and is a bigger goal threat
He's appeared 26 times this season, and only got 3 league goals, as much as i would like to see him go abroad, with that goals to games ratio it can't be too bad at another club in england

tevez easily worth 30 million to be honest!
his work rate is second to none and considering he doesn't think he's part of the family he's out there putting in 100% every time he plays.
plus class goal he just scored against city

Brilliant goal today and I love his workrate.
I don't want to see him go but if he does I just hope it isn't to the Scousers, he and Torres could be lethal and improve them so much.

I'm gutted. Think he is a brilliant player, I'd rather see him playing than Berbatov.
He better not end up with those scouse scum bags

a forward is ultimately judged by his goals, and although todays was a good one, it was only his fourth. i have no doubt fergie wants to keep him, but he just doesnt want to spend so much on him
Although i also think he has his eye on someone else instead of tevez, possibly a top striker in europe

Could it be a ploy to get him at a cheaper price? I often think this. Rather than be held to ransom they are playing it cool maybe, waiting until there are no bids apart from maybe 18 mill frim Liverpool (for eg) then Man Utd snap him up for nearer 20?

That is what I am saying. Nobody will want to stump up the cash so then he will be available cheaper/at a more reasonable price.

Todays side stepping wasn't very subtle though

Have to disagree, his goals/games ratio is poor. Hard workers will always be liked by the fans but ultimately if you're a striker and you don't score goals then you're not worth £30 million.

Indeed Hammer. Sooner have Ribery if workrate is what you're after, especially as he'll come without the expectation of goals.

Agreed, this season he hasn't warranted a 30m price tag.

By the way, Tevez and Berbatov have both scored 14 so far this season.

I do think he'd score more if he had regular football, his workrate is the best in the team, but IMO it is completely pointless even putting any effort in as there is no insentive to score.
Especially when you score 4 against a PL team and get dropped for the game after.

exactly hes barely played one full game!
give him the same amount of playing time as rooney and he will score a lot more than 14

I know I say this everytime Tevez is mentioned on here, but he's United's best forward...
Would be first name on my teamsheet. Always gives 110%, and his attitude is exception.
True professional.

That's actually better than I thought tbh and he's 1 in 3 over his United career which is again better than I thought personally.

Problem is, Tevez is too similar to Rooney imo. Berba is a lazy badger. If Liverpool have an ounce of common sense they will be writing out a cheque as we speak. Tevez will be the missing link to them and the prem title imo. He wont go anywhere near Man City.

I would be sooooo happy if we bought tevez but I can see us missing out over some niggling detail. He's exactly the type of player we need.
