Just bought a Tesco mobile that I want to use with my 02 sim. Is there any way to get an unlock code for it without paying some nigerian in my local phone emporium to get for me.

A nokia 7100, nothing special, only using it for work and thought that tesco would just be the phone and the sim card seperate, but oh no... lol

So the handset is locked to the Tesco network?
As far as I am aware Tesco use the O2 network so it may work?
After some reading it seems like Tesco branded phones actually need to be plugged in to be un-locked.
Best get down to the market and get it hooked up to Nbox

Tesco mobiles are locked and need an unlocking code mate

Took it to the local place and their giving it a go for me. Said that its new software that they've not done before so god knows. If that doesnt work I'll just phone tesco and let them rob me of £30..
