I've got a problem with display on my laptop, it sometimes happens on my PC too. I have no idea what it would be called, so here's a screen dump:

If you look closely (image res is pretty small) the highlight that you get when you point over a menu option seems to get left behind after clicking the option. It always happens when running Solidworks, and sometimes when using other software.
Does anyone know what this is called so I can try fix it because it's fucking pissing me off to no end...

Have to tried upgrading your graphics card drivers?. I had a similar issue with the desktop menu/windows and upgrading the latest card drivers seemd to fix it.

Display driver, or display hardware isn't up to scratch.
Also, does this software use Direct 3D or whatever it's called? Might be something to do with that too.
