has anyone got one of these
the one i had before i got this today new one today from the insurance saved my txt messages in like a chat format so you can see the whole chat between you and a friend.
this new phone doesnt have that and in the top left corner of the menu there an icon called play now.
well it does have the feature for conversations but you have to have a user name and a password
were as on the other it didn't have that feature it just saved your messages as you went along.
im wondering if this is the updated version of the c905 or the older software ?
ive tried the update but nothing.

THe C905 was poop, sony knew it so rushed out the C905+ whcih has a speaker thats made by a different company, an 8gb memory card, a smart shutter that detects smiles in photos and the addition of threaded text messages/chat
Its basically a different.upgraded model and o2 have sent you an old one!

yes i haven't got that threaded messages anymore i liked that to..
ive been on the sony site downloaded update software and done that by usb and found out i have the latest version already.
i think there is only one version of the software available so ive been told and phone company's modify them slightly.

Are you even listening to what Jambo is saying? The C905+ is a different phone. You can keep trying to update your software but you have a C905 - not a C905+

Are you sure? Out of curiousity I just updated my C905 (on O2)with the latest software from the Sony Ericsson website and it would now appear to have C905+ functions that were not there before: Conversation texts, Wayfinder 8 Nav, YouTube, SnapFish, etc. It also seems to be a little bit quicker in the media menu and applications too.
I have no idea what software version the phone was before but it is now: "1205-9079 R1DA032 090204 SonyEricsson"
Luckily I haven't had any problems with the phone speaker (yet, touch wood) and I have quite a few M2 cards and USB adaptors lying about if I ever need 8GB of memory for a mobile phone!

right i understand it now and you are right about the c905+
its the updated version... of the c905
i can now sleep at night lol
ive got my 3rd phone now and its the one i want with sms convos and that must be the original older version
the updated software isnt that good to be honest.
in my opinion anyway.
only good thing is the youtube application which doesnt really work unless your wi fi connected
