i have had a play with one of these at work and while they are very 'James bond' they are overated and jsut playing on the sony name.

even though it has a tiny colour lcd viewfinder clarity is quite poor and the flash seemed to be quite tempremental.

i havnt printed a picture yet but i will do today and tell you what it is like.

printing at 6x4 on a HP photosmart 230 was very good actually!!

& cool - so does it have ur recommendation ? Any chance of seeing the pic u took ?

I just want a simple point+shoot camera. I'm not interested in taking big hi res professional photos, but just the odd holiday/weekend snaps kinda thing !

icy - yeh, the U10 was only like 1.3 mega pixels or sumthin, but like P@ul says, this one's a 2.1 megapixel, 1600x1200
