the imobiliser goes through the corsas ecu but when you replace the engine you will be using the 2.0 ecu which has no imobiliser so you wont have to worry about it

My 8V wasnt immobilised, but i thought the immobiliser was on the 1.2 Ecu? or internal loom?
the only time an immobiliser would afect a conversion is if the engine and ecu your putting in was immobilised, but as you say the 2.0 8V isnt so happy days
