hi, thought i would start my own thread as i have spent many hours reading other peoples projects

i passed my test 4 months ago and last weekend managed to write off my beloved L reg flair on the M1. Its a long story but there was a crash in front of me and it all ended up in a pile up. thankfully no one was hurt other than my ego

two days later i had mk2, shes excactly the same, identical now that i have swapped the interior other as well

its a 1.0 12v merit. came with awful interior that i couldn't wait to see the back of. other than that and a few tiny spots of rust i think shes a tidier, much smoother upgrade of the old one.

heres how i picked her up

after swapping for my beloved flair interior i then got hold of some halfords 'bumper paint' rattle cans and got to work. got the two rear arches and rear bumper done today and guna have ago at the front possibly tomorow.

hears the rear , massive improvement imo

il get some pics up when the front is done

Plans;

i want quite a subtle look, nothing other the top

cav slabs (hopefully picking up tomorow)
spoiler (again maybe tomorow)
badgeless grill
lowered 60mm
maybe refurd wheels to black or white undecided yet
possibly colour code

what do you guys think?
