hi does anyone have a diagram of how the alternator belt goes on, on a x14xe engine with air con and power steering? any help be great thanks lee

The belt goes flat side onto the tensioner, there is only one way round it can go

Yeah if you've got AC + PAS you need to remove one side of the mount, its easier to put a jack under the engine (use a piece of wood to spread the load) and remove the side that bolts to the chassis leg.

Seriously it can only go on one way round 
Ribbed side goes around all pulleys then then pull the slack back on its self so it goes flat side around the tensioner.. Its normally easier to fit the belt to the PAS/AC + tensioner then then slacken the tensioner and pull it over the alternator.

Right.. put the belt around all pulley, then you see the gap between the bottom pulley and your alternator (in your last pick) you need to pull the belt through there and over to the tensioner.

cheers mate that what i thought just iv had a bash today and to get my belt on the other side of the mount i need to move the air con pump to get the mount out the way and to move the air con i need to take the subframe off is it really this crap to do or am i doing it a silly way? thanks for the help mate it really is much appreciated
