Yes it'll be the only cup we win, blah blah.

Anyway, Liverpool Youth's are in the FA Youth Cup final for the 3rd time in 4 years after winning it in 06 and 07. First leg is away at the Emirates tonight, its on Setanta for anyone who cares to watch.

Such a shame most the players get ousted for average summer signings

The best ones will come through, alla Insua.

We have some real talents in this youth team and could be a few rising through the ranks if the keep up their progression.

Half Time, Arsenal 2 - 1 Liverpool

Great start by us, controlled the first 15 mins. Wisdom (playing a year up) is a beast in central midfield. And Amoo is terrorising the left back down the right wing.

Arsenal scored a typical Arsenal goal to go 1-0 up, good passing which split the defence and a good finish. They went 2-0 up thanks to our make shift RB (schoolboy level still) making a rash challenge as the player was running out of the area. Whiltshire scored a pen that should of been saved.

Last 15mins we turned the pressure back on. Our LB, Buchtmann, who has just had a great tournament with the German side which earned him a place in UEFA's top 10 youngsters to watch list, has had a great game. His cross led to a shot which bounched back to Kacaniklic who smashed a volley home.

Congrats to Arsenal, we had most of the ball but they did really well. They really do play like the first team squad.

Hopefully we'll have a full team back next week and make up the 3 goals, we didnt deserve the 3 goal defeat today so hopefully.

Tbh the Arsenal youth play better than the first teamers because they actually take their chances.

I fully suspect Wiltshere will be a world class footballer one day, he is frightening for a 17 year old.

He had a good game, probably one of the best players, but I wouldnt of said great.

He has a great eye for a ball, but looks very weak on it. Saying that he is only young but is tiny!

It's his vision I was most impressed with, if he develops physically he'll be top drawer.
