Bit of an update received some more bits today including my Revo stage 3 and my AFR and EGT setup...
There isnt much room down there now with the IHI..Pics to follow
Ive Had the code Flashed on the ECU for the IHI turbo and i can tweek it my self but its set a 330-335bhp...But il be pegging my boost At 1.45bar....
so this Weekend ive got to fit :
IHI Vf23 Turbo With P20 exhaust housing
Tig-art tuburlar manifold
3'' Turbo intake pipe
Blue Top 470cc Injectors @ 3bar
Bosch Rated Coilpacks
Innovate Wideband Gauge, LC-1 Ki
Denso Ik22 Cold grade spark Plugs
Intergrated Engineering Connecting Rods With 20mm Wrist pins
Then Mock up my coolant and oil lines then its going away to get the Downpipe map up....
So i can comment on it being abit of a handfull on boost

Ta matt...
Havent even Finished yet
I recieved my walbro Inline fuel pump today but not too sure on the fitting they've supplied...
1st Pic is the fitting with a hole straight through it for the fuel to come in...
But on the other side the fitting they've supplied has only 5 small hole in it but no hole in the end? If i remeber rightly isnt this fixing gonna restrict the fuel if any with the hose clammed on...Plus its a thread fixing too...
I asked a mate and he came out with a comment about drilling the end same as the other...( I do have a Drill Mount actually)
Also these are the injectors im using: Bosch Blue Top 470cc injectors will be using them @ 3bar
Also Bought some 12.9 Tensile M10 Bolts for the Manifold But not made up on to use a gasket or not...

Well ive clocked the turbo to how i want it...So the Oil Sump retainers Drop dead bottom plus all my Gt2x bits fit directly on to it...My Custom Tip i made and Charge pipe bolts directly on to it so i can atleaset start bolting it all together tomorrow morning
So im really pleased with it:

I started Bolting it all together today
This is what i have to start with and all my other bits should arrive here this afternoon...(All My Hoses And Fixings ect...)
ive also got a Bracket of a lad off here to move my gear selectors over to make room for a larger 3'' tip...So im gonna Ditch the reducing bit(black) with a Full 3'' then reducer it to 57mm(compressor Size)
I also stook some Stickers on the car thats ive had for a while...Car defo needs a clean tho as its been sat for 3weeks and is under a Massive tree lol..
As for the Oil Feed Line I can use my K03 OEM one But i need a Special Bolt From JS or JBS to go through the Banjo as its a Odd Size and Thread...

Il make 330bhp AK with 1.5bar boost..
I don't want to push it too hard as il end up cracking the housing or bearing failure..
Id be happy with 330bhp as il have a race spec Inlet manifold with Golf R32 75mm throttle bodie..

eh? I dont get the last sentance
why does having a "race spec Inlet manifold with Golf R32 75mm throttle bodie" make you happy with 330bhp.

Its a Better manifold for the 1.8ts larger in size with a larger throttle bodie....
The Stock Tb is 60mm irrc and is fine but with the new one just give you that bit more...
I know the vf23 fully max out on the 2.0 scoobs at 330bhp and a few of the ihi 1.8t are running 320-330bhp no more and a maxiums peak boost of 1.5bar..
Once its up and running i might upgrade to a andy forrest td05-18G depending on funds..

Been really Busy tonight...
My main goal was to get the silicone Parts Cut and fitted so gives me more time to consentrate on bigger things ...
I firstly Wired up my AFR gauge...Its Still in Learn Mode till i connect the sensor hence the numbers ...
My full 3'' tip with Merlin Sealant Bungs..Its fits Snug at the moment but with the bracket should give me that bit more room..
The Engine Bay so far its abit messy as i ran out of light but its slowly becoming a IHI
The manifold..

I thought id Better pull my finger out so started at 8am today and ive just finished 5pm...Ive had a very constructive day tbh and very pleased that everything went really well...apart from the ****ing oil line i might have swore a couple of hundred thousand times but got it on in the end...
First job of the day was to get the Gear linkage bracket on which ended up me having loads of room for a Large 3'' tip all the way down to the compressor wheel which then in turned in to 57mm around 2'' away from it...
The Bracket which i copied for anyone who might want it..was a peice of piss to fit i couldn't belive it..
So i got all the coolant & oi lines on,Cut and Mounted the Tip,Fitted Gearlinkage bracket,Fitted ECS thermastate & Sump plug,Bolted turbo up,Fitted walbro Fuel pump & braided lines with finishers..
All ive got todo now is tidy up the wiring inside the Car and engine bay,Fit 1 oil banjo bolt to the block, wirer up walbro then fill her up with oil and start her up...
Seems to be alot going on in the bay but theres no way to smartan it up abit...I could tidy it up abit but im gonna leave that for another time...gonna get ready and go to the pub

Im struggling to get a spark so whats the best place to check? any plugs and sensors i should check?
Now were is the Crank sensor? if it wasnt plugged in or was broken surely it would throw a code? as im gettin none with vagcom..
Gonna check the wireing to my coilpack 2moro...
I proberly fitted my 3'' Tip 2night put a longer length of 3'' in to make more room...So got 3'' from filter all the way to the turbo..Just gonna give it all a clean and repaint the rocker cover then i can get the DP done..
O and fitted a battery cover to hide the gash battery..

WOooooo Its alive.... im Prober made up...
Theres wasn't enough Juice in the Battery to make a spark....So it idles fine Theres no Oil or fuel Leaking....
Just Gotta Get a Downpipe made up now then im one step closer to it being finished...Ive Just gotta sort out my walbro as it leaking Fuel when the hoses are connect but when the Walbro isnt Installed in the lines it doesnt leak.
So il have to look more in to that maybe 2morro But im over the moon
Big Thanks To Curzon & lauren For helping us out..
