my sister has that bed in the single size off ebay, looks nice and cheap enough.
edit: no it isn't, it doesn't have that horizontal line across the bottom bit of the bed. she was going to get that one but i said it looked a bit silly with the line there, so she went for another one without the line there.

I looked at loads of similar ones but never found one that I was 100% happy with.
This one is 100% leather at a decent price.
Just need to pick a mattress now.

You're either a fussy git or a tight bastard
Saying that, it's took me 2 weeks to decide on what fridge freezer to get. That's because i'm a tight badger though.

How much are you spending?
Faux leather or real leather, to be honest, they all look the same.
Spend more money on the mattress as thats what you actually sleep on.

I'm very fussy. I figure if i'm spending about £800 in total I might as well get something I like.
The bed frame is just under £400, probably spend the same again on a mattress.

My Ikea bed is doing the job nicely, i'd say it was fairly sturdy, thick sides, metal frame, i've got a decent mattress on it though.

Ikea beds arent all shite, I've got a £90 MALM bedframe and its the best bed I've had, and I've had it about 5 years, moved house 3 times, its been took apart or moved about god knows how many times and goes back together perfectly, it doesnt make any noises and is proper sturdy. You must be shite at building it.

IKEA stuff IMO is shit in general. It's cheap for a reason.

When I was with the ex, we had a £400 memory foam mattress.
One of the best house purchases we made, definitely worth it.

Costco had decent memory phone mattresses for just over 200 recently, worth looking out for them in there again.

Wierd, mine just doesnt squeek in the slightest. I put a shitload of woodglue on it when I put it together and tightened everythin to fuck, the years of poundage its taken and still going strong.
