Hi all, didn't do much on my last project so thought I'd start another one..

I used to drive this, 1 litre 12 volt until yesterday..

Went from this...

To this...

But it had 121,000 miles on it and I thought it would be easier to get another car than to convert that.

So I bought this last night. I've gone down in years but up in everything else!!

It's a P reg flame red 1.4 sport. Has 49,000 miles and was owned by an old woman. Just had work done so engine is sweet!

Off to pick it up soon

I'll keep you all posted on what I do this time lol, theres a thread about my polar sea blue one somewhere but I didn't add much to it tbh.

Hope you all like

Hi all, update

Depos on

Pipercross induction kit and inxx bonnet lifters

Wind deflectors

fiat marea rear wiper

There was polish allover the black bit at the corner of the mirror and on the inside of the mirror so I painted them all black today. Looks good IMO

Some 1.6 sport brakes, will upload pics later, forgot about them!

Coilovers came friday so they were fitted straight away... Fronts very low, although the rear could be lower, hope they settle more, may have to get custom springs. They're TA technix btw

Now sits like this.

Futre plans:

New plates, coming soon!
Gloss black cav slabs
Gloss black bumper tops and arches
Gloss black door handles, boot lock, tigra scuttle
smoked side reps
de-badge
new bootlid and spoiler as the spoiler is nearly orange and the boot is rusty
Anthracite engine cover
exhaust system but thats undecided. Nothing stupid!
And a bloody good t-cut and polish!
Maybe a bad boy bonnet, undecided!

Other bits and bats, but dunno what yet.

Will keep you all posted

Hope you all likey

Update time, changed quite abit!

Bought some slabs, my mate had his car wrote off so had no use for them, not everyone likes them but I love them on corsas

Also chopped my rear springs as Jonny Ingham was right about them sitting way too high! Sits like so..

like this pic Also notice the new plates, got a short one for the front and just a standard one for the rear.

Then got a sunstrip, again, not to everyone's taste but I like it

Rear headrests, mudflaps and a smooth gloss black boot lock

Nest I tinted my lights red, and struggled to get indicators to flash orange, but used green bulbs and they flash orange now

Then decided to get some corsa c centre caps and painted them gloss black, and put a red lip on the slabs, looks cool I think

On the car

Then my backbox fell off so even though I'm skint, I decided to get one done properly at powerflow. Was £210 for a cat back, lifetime guarentee, must admit, it sounds schweet!

Thats about it for now!!

Comments welcome, good/bad!

Carl.

Thanks for comments lads, when I got it I was going to get some post 97 bumpers but after owning a pre 97, I actually prefer them lol, so I'm leaving them on, just getting top halves done gloss black eventually.

Erm, I didn't think it could be safe but spoke to a few people on here that have done it and they said it was fine, so had a go, and it is fine.

Was told that as long as the big hole in the spring (end that you chopped) was at the top it would be ok.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Good progress mate. Loving those wheels, look sweet!

Did you paint the lip on, or is it rim tape??
