Author calibra v6 x25xe plug whats it for?-engine not sparking

not sure if they are related but have this plug left over from fitting in a corsa engine is putting fuel through but no spark. no spark pulse from the ecu to the coil. its in its own little bit of loom and has the constant live for the ecu with it which is connected. any ideas?

its not coil pack coil i wish i knew what it was for
