Hi lads,
Lowered the rear of my car last night, didnt get round to finishing the fronts due to time / not the right tool (lol).
ANYWAY... i drove the car and it felt sound but there was a slighty cranking / knocking only really present at low speeds (10-30)... Was wondering what it might be?
It sounds like its coming from the rear drivers side.

Check your exhaust isnt hitting the rear beam.. They can sag over time

had new exhaust recently mate, new clip fitting things aswell.
Im sure its not the exhaust as when i bounce the rear of the car up and down it sounds like its coming from the rear drivers side.

yea sort of like a creaking noise... i double checked the bolts were tight... as ive only just fitted them i dont know if its really safe to drive or not :S

Could it be the angle of the car atm? I mean its -60mm on the rears and 0mm on the front?

it is pobably just the spring. because they are so low the spring when compressed is prob the coils r touching and it makes a squeekin noise. if not that then have u cheaked if the spring is seated properly? i wouldnt worry bout any squeekin noises lol. jus put a big bore exhaust on it and turn up your music. i can bet the noise will go then lol

ill check tonight mate, just to double check, is the smaller end of the spring meant to be at the bottom or the top?

Is it a rubber like creak?
My mate fitted a cheap set of shocks and his creaked like mad until he fitted decent ones.
