I plugged it into the back of the xbox and into the back of the tv

changed my tv to hdmi

and nothing comes up

am I missing something?

i got that hdtv scart thing, but I'm not sure what that is. just normal scart, no HD

are you sure your on the right HDMI channel? my tv has 3 hdmi imputs and i have my XBOX on number 2

gotta set the xbox to hdmi in settings

As Sam said, you need to change the settings to use HDMI.

On my tv, I use the AV channel for the colour connection, and the HDMI channel for the HDMI lead, check the channel your on mate
