literally just got back from watching it.

Amazing film.
Christian Bale is a great actor (but a wanker in real life).
There isnt much of a story tbh but the special effects are great and not too ott.

deffo worth going to see

All these rating things are pointless imo, thats just the opinion of some people, you may love what they dont like

Yeah bullshit ratings.

I liked the 3rd one because of the development of the story and the fact that Judgement day could never be stopped.

The film was a bit soft etc but the ending was brilliant.

I'm off to see Salvation tonight at 8pm and I'm so excited.

I thought 3 was pretty crap and after watching 2 again the other night it wasn't anywhere near as good as I remember!

T-1000 doesn't look overly impressive anymore either! As an 11 year old it was however.

Looking forward to seeing this though, they never showed enough of the future in the first film.

I'm sure that people hated Terminator 2 at the time, but look at it now - you'll hear almost no bad words about it.

Marc

T2 was released in 92? Think about the computers we were using then, Amigas & Atari ST's were the height of technology so back then the T-1000 looked incredible, I think now it still looks decent.

T3 as a film was crap yes, but the story was very good and linked things up nicely.

T4 is a better film than T3 but I found myself wanting more at the end, it's a good film for those that love the franchise, I'll give it a 7/10.

1991

At the time it was amazing, just saying looking back its dated.

T4 was very good, some of the older film references was actually quite funny, not sure if they were intentional!

Would have liked to have seen more scenes like the original flashbacks buts its no biggie.

T1 and T2 were serious action films, choose how good the special effects were/weren't, T3 however was a bit more 'half-arsed' IMO and failed with trying comedy, it was as if the director got all excited in the studio's and then when it got round to making the film he lost interest.
I'm going to watch this next week sometime, I'm expecting to not like it as much I like 1 and 2, but I think with the trailors I have seen and people's comments that it will be better than 3.

I liked the fact that we still have the ability to launch aircraft, although the films choice the A10 is hardly an air to air fighter, the primary roll of the A10 is air to ground heavy bomber.

But I'm a geek and things like that I pick up on.

I liked also the fact that the world hadn't quite fallen into the dark world that the earlier films had forseen, technology was still playing a big role.

Lots of films/books etc make out that a nuclear war would be the end of humanity, that simply isn't the case and it was refreshing to see that in a film.

Thought it was crap, just for the fact it adds nothing to the story. I did like all the little nods to the first film though, apart from a certain line that was just utter cheese. But not even the amazing effects could save it

Good film, I enjoyed it maybe could of played bit more of the original music. part where John reprograms a bike and the guns and roses song plays but only a few seconds.
T2 is my favourite film of all time by far.
Anyone think there will be another one ?

pretty sure there will be another one, theres so many different ways they can go with it now. Finding the time machines sending reese back, capturing the t-101 reprogramming it, the first t-1000's etc so many possibilities

They can make Terminator films indefinately now.

I think there could possibly be one more cinema release, probably quite low budget compared to the others and released low key. Then there could be god knows how many straight to dvd and more tv spin offs.
