I'd take that, he isn't that good against decent teams. Rooney is better and with all the players coming through at United he won't be missed IMO. Maybe at first, but not for long.

He is not £24 Million pounds better than Kaka.
In fact I think Kaka is the better all round player.

I don't want him to leave as he always goes missing against us.

Ronaldo scores a lot of goals for Man Utd as the team is generally built around him, at Madrid I don't think that will be the case. He is going to go missing even more.

silly money for him, will lose all his goals but he has been infuriating in his work-rate this year. 80million is way over the amount though
The key is that money going back into signing 2 players, maybe add a little to it and get 3

What would Platini say if an English club spent £130m on two players in a week

I'd be delighted if I was United, never ever cuts it in big games, ie last two CL finals. No doubt he is top notch, but I feel the big occasions get the better of him.
If united sell him they will sign Tevez Valencia and one other imo. Then again, they could always turn Nani into a world class winger

Surely its not a one off payment. Surely its spread over a number of years and has condtions. I would think he would have to win the league and champions league 5 years on the trot and score 500 goals for them to get the full paymnent

What do you think unconditional means?
Do you really think united would sell ronaldo for a price which included a silly amount of add ons, they have spotted that getting 80million in a lump sum is a massive amount and have decided that is more than ronaldo is worth to us

Hope they don't sign Valencia, there are better wingers out there who would cost 16million, he looks good at wigan but i'm not convinced he could be anything more than a squad player at united, and our squad is plenty big enough, we just need 3 world class players
A striker, a centre mid, and a winger (possibly 2 now)

What a wanker of a man He expressed a desire to stay at United before they were outclassed in the Champions League Final.
£80 million is laughable. But even more so is the people who say he won't be missed He has been by far the best player United have had for the past couple of seasons.
The return of the Galactico's And FFS that'll be the new team everycunt goes on FIFA

And as far as raw talent goes, Madrid now have it in abundance. Obviously that doesn't mean they will be world beaters again, only time will tell. But with the likes of Guti, Van der Vaart, sneijder, Ronaldo, Kaka, Huntelaar, Ramos, Casillas... They have an astonishing amount of world class players!

Ah yes, but Kieron Dyer doesn't play for them yet. They can't be that good.

There has been talk of Huntelaar leaving and united have been looking into him again. But i agree they have a lot of talent at the club now

FFS how often does Dyer pop up in Fitbaw threads you're in!? Huntelaar at United would do well imo. But they need to get rid of Berbatoss first. I'm dreading FIFA online

Every thread he's mentioned in, fucking reading fans
Yeah i think he'll do well. I also think berbatov will do better next season, he will have fitted in and his work-rate went from nil to about 10% this season

Could buy ronaldo for 80 million, or for 20million more could own a football club with at 40,000 + seater stadium

Glad in the sense that you can't have a player saying he wants to stay one minute then wants to leave the next. If he can't say he definately wants to stay he should go.
Hopefully now we'll sign Tevez permantley, although given his comments he may want to go elsewhere.
£80m will cover Tevez and enable us to bring in 2-3 players, either another striker, attacking midfielder or winger.
We'll miss his goals but Park can fill the void on the wing no problem, he just can't produce the goals of Ronaldo.
Be funny if Ronaldos move to Real turns out to be a repeat of Owen and hes a flop! Doubt it though!
